Encounter of the diatonic accordions of Sophie Cavez and Jonathan De Neck with the flamenco guitar and Arabic oud of Karim Baggili and various percussion by Jo Zanders.
The original compositions are all written by Sophie Cavez & Jonathan De Neck.
The music is influenced by oriental music, jazz and various traditional styles, with an important emphasis on improvisation. This young group has the punch, the “ joie de vivre “ and a lot of talent.
You could have seen them at Flagey, at Dranouter Folk Festival, at Sfinks festival, … For the release of their first album « Alma », Dazibao plays twenty gigs in Wallonie, Flandres and The Netherlands.
