Après l’album « Doumale », Issa Sow poursuit son travail de recherche artistique et culturelle dans l’esprit du multiculturalisme
musical.
Il réussit sa pratique qui consiste à introduire son instrument traditionnel, le « Nianiorou ou Riti », dans la musique
moderne, à la découverte du monde.
La richesse de son héritage Peulh, reste l’élevage, facteur de son nomadisme. A la quête de pâturage pour ses
troupeaux, toute la culture musicale d’Issa SOW est née de cette transhumance et mobilité.
Sa rencontre avec le violoniste belge Wouter VANDENABEELE est une révélation qui a créé un choc musical qui
retrace l’épopée des instruments à cordes à travers des formes d’expressions pastorales.

After the album « Doumale », Issa Sow continues his work of artistic and cultural research in the spirit of multiculturalism
musical.
He succeeds in his practice of introducing his traditional instrument, “Nianiorou or Riti”, in modern music, to discover
the world.
The richness of his Peulh heritage, remains the breeding, factor of his nomadism. In the quest for pasture for
herds, the entire musical culture of Issa SOW was born from this transhumance and mobility.
His encounter with the Belgian violinist Wouter VANDENABEELE is a revelation that has created a musical shock
that traces the epic of stringed instruments through forms of pastoral expressions.
