English - Quinteto Astor consists of fi ve musicians united by their fascination and love for Argentine Tango. Inspired
by the vibrant Tango scene in Buenos Aires, the members of Quinteto Astor undertook a quest for a similar passion in
their own country, Belgium. This resulted in a new album which pays ‘a warm tribute to the passionate Belgians’. For
the fi rst time, this cd includes brand new compositions of the band members together with original interpretations of
Argentine tango classics.

Français - Quinteto Astor est composé de cinq musiciens qui partagent une même passion pour le tango argentin.
Inspiré par la vibrante scène de tango de Buenos Aires, le quintette s’est mis à la recherche d’une même passion
musicale, mais dans son propre pays : la Belgique. Le résultat est une ode à la passion belge. Sur ce troisième opus on
découvre pour la première fois des compositions du quintette ainsi que des arrangements personnels de classiques du
tango argentin.

Nederlands - Quinteto Astor bestaat uit vijf muzikanten die hun liefde voor tango delen. Geïnspireerd door Buenos
Aires, ging het kwintet het afgelopen jaar in eigen land op zoek naar passie. Het resultaat is een nieuwe cd waarop
Quinteto Astor op Argentijnse wijze een ‘ode aan de passionele Belg’ brengt. Op hun derde schijfje prijkt deze keer voor
het eerst eigen werk naast eigenzinnige interpretaties van Argentijnse tangoklassiekers.
