For this record Melike went searching for the essenceof her own sound which can be best described as etno-pop/ roots: western music with eastern fringes and crazy guest musicians. Each track is a playful musical story with sharp edges at times.
TARHAN is the first English project of singer-songwriter Melike Tarhan. In the past she successfully combined eastern and western influences in different Turkish projects such as Macar, released with Longdistance/ Harmonia Mundi and Zumurrude, released with Homerecords.be. Her latest album 'Inn of Love', was released in october 2014 with the Belgian label Homerecords.be and in april 2015 in Turkey with KALAN Müzik.
